Build one that's yours
The philosophy lives in What a Ward Actually Does. This is the workbench version — the sequence, plainly.
The steps
- Name it exactly. Not 'protection.' My sleep. My front door. My daughter's drive home. Specificity is the spell.
- Draw it to a mark. Write the sentence, strike the repeated letters, bind what remains into one small sigil. Ugly is fine. Yours is the requirement.
- Charge it with presence. Hold it, look at it without analyzing, say the line once like you mean it.
- Place it, and renew it. Doorframe, bedpost, wallet. Touch it when you pass. The touch is the renewal. The renewal is the ward.
Set one tonight. Renew it tomorrow. That's the whole craft.
