The Ethics of Magic: When and How to Use Sorcery

Before you work on anyone but yourself, read this. The craft has a floor, and it isn't optional.

The floor beneath the craft

Magic aimed at another person's will is the place beginners get themselves in trouble. My rule is plain: work on your own life freely; work on someone else's only with their asking. A love spell aimed at a specific person is not romance, it's coercion, and it rots the caster as surely as the target.

Ask three questions first

Is it mine to change? Would I do it to their face? Can I live with it holding? If any answer is no, the working isn't ready — and neither are you. The craft makes you deliberate, not unaccountable.
